If someone is taking medicines for blood pressure or heart, then he must also consult a doctor once. Blood platelets are more active and sticky in cold weather, so the risk of blood clotting also increases. This also increases the risk of heart stroke.

Number of diabetic patients in the district is 10002

Dr. Jigyasa Sahni told that around 2000 patients are reaching the OPD of RBM Hospital daily. If we talk about diabetes and heart patients, then around 200 are coming every month. He told that in view of the winter season, the number of patients of this type of disease has increased.

In the same month, 50 brain stroke patients have come to the hospital so far and 10 people have died. In view of the outbreak of winter, preventive measures are being taken to the general public by the district administration. The number of diabetes patients in the entire district in 2022-23 is 10002 (Ten Thousand Two).

– Do not hide in the house in winter, rather bask in the sun.
If you are suffering from high blood pressure, go out only after taking medicine in the morning in extreme cold.
Minimize outdoor activities.

Keep the head well covered with woolen clothes.
Eat balanced, nutritious and fresh food.
Avoid consumption of alcohol and caffeine.
Get complete sleep (6-8 hours).
