Research states that postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) may develop in some people who have taken the Kovid-19 vaccine.

According to ANI, the researchers also found that after applying the vaccine that protects against Kovid-19, the risk of getting a disease like POTS increases five times more in people. It is obvious that today the emphasis is on vaccination after infection. Research has also said that people are more likely to develop heart disease after infection.

Study author Alan C. Kwan, a cardiologist at Cedars-Sinai, says that when we look at a possible link between the COVID-19 vaccine and POTS, preventing COVID-19 through vaccination may still reduce your POTS. The best way to reduce the risk of This research included 284,592 vaccinated people between 2020 and 2022. Along with this, 12,460 patients infected with Kovid-19 with heart disease were also included in it.

Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome is a nervous system-related condition that usually affects young women. The most appropriate way to identify it is that within 10 minutes of standing, the heart rate increases by up to 30 beats and reaches the level of 120 beats per minute. Other symptoms include fainting, dizziness and fatigue. However some patients with severe disease may also experience migraine, increased urination, sweaty hands, anxiety and tremors.

At the same time, Kwan insisted that despite this research, the rates of POTS after Kovid-19 vaccination were much lower than the rates of new POTS after Kovid-19 infection. Kwan further said that this research identifies a possible link between the Kovid-19 vaccine and POTS.
