It was seen that there was 99 percent to 100 percent blockage in the main artery of the heart. Angioplasty was done immediately thereafter. After this, the rhythm and function of the heart started getting stable.

Cardiac arrest multiple times

When his heart started working up to 30 percent, he was discharged. At present, his heart is working up to 60 percent, but the team of doctors had to struggle a lot to bring it to this condition. Dr. Mukesh Goyal, Senior Consultant, Cardio Thoracic Surgery, of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, said that it was actually a very critical case. Before coming here, the condition of the patient was getting worse every minute. He was having cardiac arrest again and again. Several times he was given shock therapy and CPR. Despite this the situation was not improving. After this situation he was brought to Apollo Hospital. We did angioplasty very quickly.

How came in this situation without BP sugar
Dr. Goyal told that the case of such silent heart attack is rarely seen in young age. This was a kind of unique case. He said that there can be 30 to 40 percent plaque in your arteries. Plaque means that cholesterol i.e. sticky dirty substance starts accumulating in the arteries that supply blood to the heart. This dirty plaque does not cause any hindrance in normal activities. This is the reason why it is not known. If you get it checked, the cholesterol level may be normal or it may not be. But there are some factors that can rapidly increase this 40 percent blockage. One of these is stress. If your stress comes in a dangerous condition, then it will not take even a little time to increase from 40 percent blockage in the artery and it will come out in the form of silent heart attack or cardiac arrest.

How is the condition of the patient now?
According to the doctor, the patient was discharged. He has been given medicines. Presently his heart is working up to 60 percent. He has also been given blood thinner medicine. Along with this, medicine has also been given to reduce cholesterol further, due to which the danger has been averted. After 2-3 months this person will be able to cycle for 30 to 40 minutes and walk 3-4 kms.
